    Abstract
As a result of the high demand for electrical energy during peak loads, the MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) on the kwh meter often trips. Electrical equipment such as cell phones require electrical energy from batteries to operate. Users often forget to unplug the battery charge, and end up not using it anymore, resulting in increased payments. Therefore we need to know the amount and amount of electric current consumed by electrical equipment, especially cell phone chargers. To find out the amount and amount of electric current consumed by electrical equipment, you can use the ACS712 sensor. This project aims to make equipment to monitor the consumption of electric current in households. The ACS712 sensor is a current sensor that works based on the effect of a magnetic field. Current sensors can be used to measure AC (Alternating Current) and DC (Direct Current) currents. The way this sensor works is that the current that is read flows through the copper wires contained therein which produces a magnetic field that is captured by the integrated field IC and converted into a proportional voltage. Current measurement usually requires a shunt resistor, which is a resistor that is connected in series with the load and converts the current flow into a voltage. The voltage is usually fed to the current transformer first before entering the signal conditioning circuit. The reading results are displayed on the android connected to the device using Bluetooth (Bluetooth Communication).
