Paro Hidup dan Tingkat Keusangan Artikel yang Dipublikasi pada Jurnal Kesehatan Masyarakat Nasional dan Malaysian Journal of Public Health Medicine Periode 2017-2019
Abstract
The objective of the research is to find out the development of journal literature, the half-life of obsoleteness of the National Public Health Journal and the Malaysian Journal of Public Health Medicine in the Period of 2017-2019. The research employs descriptive-comparative method with quantitative approach. The data are collected by tracing the available data, analysis unit, article quoting cited by both journals in the period 2017-2019. There are 297 articles with 8,254 quotes. The data are analyzed by using citing bibliometric analysis. The result of the research shows that the half-life of the national Public Health Journal in the period of 2017-2019 is 7.30 years and the level of literature obsoleteness is 35.87% lower than that of the literature of the Malaysian Journal of Public Health Medicine in the period 2017-2019, which is 8.69 years with the level of obsoleteness of 40.51% The half-life of both journals is in accordance with the regulation of literature obsoleteness or latest information source which became the guideline of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education in which the age of it cannot be more than 10 years, Literature used by the National Public Health Journal is more recent than those used by the Malaysian Journal of Public Health Medicine.
