| dc.description.abstract | This research deals with the field of history. The title of this thesis is the Vita
Dulcedo Pematang Siantar Orphanage Foundation in 2007-2015 which is limited by
sub-problems, namely regarding the background of the establishment of the Vita
Dulcedo Pematang Siantar Orphanage Foundation, how the development of the Vita
Dulcedo Pematang Siantar Orphanage Foundation in 2007-2015, supporting factors
and an obstacle to the Vita Dulcedo Pematang Siantar Orphanage Foundation. The
purpose of this research is to explain the history of the establishment of the Vita
Dulcedo Pematang Siantar Orphanage Foundation, explain the development of the
Vita Dulcedo Pematang Siantar Orphanage Foundation 2007-2015, explain the
supporting and inhibiting factors of the Vita Dulcedo Pematang Siantar Orphanage
Foundation. The methods used in historical research are: Heuristics (collection of
sources) consisting of primary and secondary sources, verification (source criticism),
interpretation (data interpretation), histiography (historical writing). The approach
used in this study is a historical research method because with this approach the
researcher can explain in detail the history of the Vita Dulcedo Pematang Siantar
Orphanage Foundation from 2007 to 2015. Along with its development, there were
supporting and inhibiting factors that made this foundation continue to survive.
Supporting factors that influenced the development of the Vita Dulcedo Pematang
Siantar Orphanage Foundation were the support of many parties, both administrators,
donors, as well as the foundation's facilities and infrastructure. In addition, the
obstacles experienced by the Vita Dulcedo Pematang Siantar Orphanage Foundation
include the lack of caretakers, the behavior of foster children who are influenced by
