Abstract

This research discusses about Chinese Cultural Values and Moral Values in the Wish Dragon movie which aims to describe and analyze the types of Chinese Cultural Values and Moral Values. This research used sociology of literature theory and the cultural values theory. The research used descriptive qualitative method. The data in this research are dialogues containing words and sentences that shows the values of Chinese culture and moral values contained in the Wish Dragon movie. The data source in this research is the Wish Dragon movie. The data collection technique in this research is the observation technique and the note-taking technique. Researcher found two indicators of Chinese cultural values in the Wish Dragon movie, those are Confucianism and Taoism. Researcher also found moral values in the Wish Dragon movie which are divided into two category, individual and social.
