The study employs observation, interviews, and documentation from two people as data collection techniques. The results of this study indicate that the management of vital archives carried out at PT for Ganda has not reflected the National Archives Regulation Number 49 of 2015 concerning Guidelines for the Vital Archives Program within the Republic of Indonesia's National Archives. The procedure for managing vital archives has not gone well, as it can be seen from the fact that archive storage is still disorganized, not all archives apply classification number labels, storage standards that are not fire nor water resistant, and non- archivists educational background. The protection and security of vital archives are also inadequate and are not supported by good post-disaster protection and security standards, archive storage areas still use wood as its media which is high Susceptible to termite attack, and there are no digital copies of the archives. In improving the quality of management of vital archives at PT Tor Ganda, it should he supported by the establishment of special classification guidelines, a workforce that is in accordance with the archivist department, and an increase in the budget for facilities and equipment procurement that support the requirement in the management of vital archives.
