Rancang Bangun Prototype Alat Pengukur Kecepatan Motor DC Menggunakan Sistem PWM dengan Koneksi Data Logger Memory SD-Card Berbasis Mikrokontroler Arduino
Abstract
DC motors are widely used in industrial and robotic applications because of their simple structure, easy speed regulation. A speed groove coupler sensor is used to measure the speed of a DC motor more accurately. The system will later display measurement results in data form and on the LCD and is equipped with a PWM module system that is connected using a data logger memory SD card. The working system of the tool reads the Speed Grove Coupler sensor value and converts it into an analog signal. The analog signal is converted to a digital value, which is then converted to rotational speed. And retrieve sensor data and send serial data. If the sensor is not rotating, the displayed value is 0 rpm. If there is a lap, the value will be displayed on the LCD. From the measurement results, 4 samples were tested, the first result showed a duty cycle value of 14%, and a pwm value of 3, so that the motor was at an angle of 90 degrees and the rotational speed was at 11 rpm. The second result shows that the duty cycle value is 16%, and the pwm value is 3.4, so that the motor rotates at 13 rpm with an angle of 90 degrees. The third result shows a duty cycle value of 20%, and a pwm value of 4.3, so the motor rotation is 18 rpm and an angle of 100. The fourth result shows a duty cycle value of 22%, a pwm value of 4.5, a motor speed of 19 rpm, and an angle of 110°.
