Pengaruh Workplace Bullying terhadap Voluntary Turnover Intention pada Karyawan Kalangan Millennial
Abstract
Voluntary turnover intention is the desire or intention from within the
individual to voluntarily resign from the company where he works. Whereas
workplace bullying is repeated harmful behavior that is intentionally carried out by
co-workers, supervisors or subordinates individually or in groups either directly or
indirectly at the workplace which causes physical, emotional and psychological
harm to other individuals. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect
of workplace bullying on voluntary turnover among millennial employees. The
subjects in this study were millennial employees in Medan with an age range of 21
to 25 years who were still working for at least 2 years. The approach in this study
is to use quantitative research methods. The data collection method used to measure
respondents' perceptions in this study is to use the scale method with a Likert scale
model with five types of responses. The data processing method in this study uses
a simple linear regression technique. The results of this study indicate that there is
a significant positive effect between workplace bullying on voluntary turnover
intention among millennial employees of 91.3%. The more severe the workplace
bullying experienced by millennial employees, the stronger the voluntary turnover
intention.
