The Mangulosi tradition at the Toba Batak traditional wedding is a tradition that is still attached to this day. For Toba Batak parents, the time of mangulosi is an important event. Especially for Toba Batak parents, when marrying off a daughter is the ceremony of handing over the daughter to become the property of the groom's family. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with interview data collection techniques. This study used a sampling technique, namely snowball sampling with a total of two respondents. The results of this study found that the two respondents brought up conflicting emotions when carrying out their daughter's mangulosi. It was also found that both respondents felt disappointed if their marriage did not carry out the mangulosi tradition. The two respondents also concluded that even though they felt sad, the sad feelings they experienced were happy sadness, because they felt proud and the two respondents were obliged to marry their children according to mangulosi tradition.en_US
