Analisis Kepribadian Tokoh pada Cerpen أمير العفاريت //Amiru Al’Afāriti/ ‘Pangeran Iblis’ Karya Kamil Kailani 2012

Abstract

This research discusses the personality of the character in short stories أمير العفاريت / Amiru Al’afariti / by Kailani. The purpose of this research is to find out and describe the character’s personality through the personality psychology approach proposed by Freud. This research is library research. Data was collected using listening methodsand recording techniques. The research data is a series of stories related to the personality structure of the story characters. In this study there are two main figure namely Hamdan has personality id, ego and superego. and Jin has personality id, ego and superego, ten additional : Hamzah has personality ego, Nuwairah has personality id, ego and superego. Tamim has personality ego. Penjaga has personality ego. Samirah has personality ego. Berbintik has personality ego. Sadiq has personality id and ego. Zuhair has personality id and ego. Syausyab has personality ego and Lamia has personality ego. This research concludes that the main character and additional characters have more ego personality elements. While the id and superego personality elements are only found in a few characters.
