Discriminant analysis is a statistical technique that can be used in dependency relationships (relationships between variables where it is already possible to distinguish which are the response variables and which are the explanatory variables). Discriminant analysis is a data analysis technique, where the dependent variable (heart disease) is categorical or qualitative data, while the independence variable is in the form of quantitative data (age, sex, chest pain, EKG results, sugar concentration, cholesterol concentration). In this study there are two objectives, namely to determine the shape of the discriminant function or model and the second is to determine the level of classification in the discriminant analysis function. Discriminant analysis is one of the methods used in multivariate analysis. Discriminant analysis can also be used to classify data based on differences in the characteristics of the data. The data used is secondary data to obtain a relationship between discriminant scores and groups, namely Z=...en_US
