Analisis Perbandingan Kualitas Jurnal Bidang Information Systems and Management Tahun 2018-2022 Menggunakan Indikator SJR dan Cites Per Documents (2 Years)

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the average quality of journals on Information Systems and Management from 2018 to 2022. The analysis was carried out using SJR and Cites per Document (2 years) indicators. This quantitative study employed the comparative approach. Secondary data were used in this study. Data were collected through documentation and unit analysis of 20 journals. The data obtained were then analyzed using quantitative statistics, normality, homogeneity, One-Way ANOVA, and Tukey tests. Based on the descriptive statistics, it was found that the first rank journal in SJR is MIS Quarterly: Management Information Systems with a mean value of 4.46. Then, based on the analysis of Cites per Document (2 years), the Journal of Industrial Information Integration is ranked first with a mean value of 14.02. The results of SJR analysis show that based on the value obtained from One-Way ANOVA, Fcount (12.273) is greater than Ftable (1.72), and the sig value = 0.000 < 0.05. It means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Then, from Cites per Document (2 years), the results obtained show that Fcount (11.851) is greater than Ftable (1.72), and the sig value = 0.000 < 0.05. These results indicate that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The analysis results also show significant differences among the 20 journals on Information Systems and Management published between 2018 and 2022 based on SJR and the Cites per Document (2 years) indicators. The study concludes that based on the analysis of SJR, the journal having poor quality to be used as a reference is the Journal of Engineering and Technology Management with a mean value of 0.92. Then, based on the analysis of Cites per Document (2 years), the journal with poor quality is Management Accounting Research with a mean value of 3.27.
