Gambaran Bentuk Penyesuaian Perkawinan Pria Batak Toba dalam Pernikahan yang Melangsungkan Tradisi Mangulosi

Abstract

For the Batak Toba tribe, marriage is a sacred and holy ceremony because of its religious values. In Batak Toba tribe marriage there is a tradition mangulosi which is believed to be a purify way of delivering prayers for the bride and groom. Mangulosi is expected to make strenght then marriage as strong as rattan and kept away from future harmfulness. This study used qualitative research methods with interview data collection techniques. Sampling technique uses in this study is snowball sampling with two respondents. The results of this study found that in making marital adjustments, environmental conditions and the level of religiosity were important factors for making adjustments.
