Sweet potato cutter is a tool to facilitate the processing of sweet potatoes by cutting sweet potatoes into the shape of french fries. This study aims to test the effectiveness of sweet potato cutting tools with parameters used in this study are the effective capacity of the tool, the percentage of yield damage, the percentage of cropped yields. The best effective capacity of the tool was obtained in treatment P3 of 7,89 kg/hour and the smallest effective capacity of the tool was obtained in treatment P1 of 7,57 kg/hour. The largest percentage of yield damage was obtained in treatment P1 of 20,1% and the smallest percentage of yield damage was obtained in treatment P3 of 11,2%. The largest percentage of truncated results was obtained in P3 treatment of 81,5% and the percentage of truncated results obtained in P1 treatment of 75,8%.%. From the calculation of economic analysis obtained BEP (Break Even Points) of 0.0047 kg/hour, NPV (Net Present Value) 5% of IDR 302,265,502.656/year, while for NPV (Net Present Value) 6 % is IDR 293,925,756.576/year, and IRR (Internal Rate of Return) is 41.9137%.en_US
