Breadfruit cutter is a tool to facilitate the processing of breadfruit by cutting sweet potatoes into ablock shape. This study aims to to design and test a breadfruit cutting tool (Artocarpus Communis) using a non-factorial completely randomized design research method with three treatments, namely the number of blades, namely P1 on 3 blades, P2 on 4 blades, and P3 on 5 blades. The parametersused in this study are the effective capacity of the tool, the percentage of yield damage, the percentageof cropped yields. The best effective capacity of the tool was obtained in treatment P3 of 9.1 kg/hourand the smallest effective capacity of the tool was obtainedin treatment P1 of 5.58 kg/hour. The largest percentage of yield damage wasobtained in treatment P1 of 54.3% and the smallest percentageof yield damage was obtained in treatment P3of 22.6%. The largest percentage of truncated results wasobtained in P3 treatment of 81.3% and the percentage of truncated results obtained in P1 treatment of65%.en_US
