Pra Rancangan Pabrik Pembuatan Coconut Cream dengan Kapasitas Bahan Baku 42.000 Ton/Tahun dan Tugas Khusus Rancangan Keteknikan Detil Heat Exchanger
Abstract
Coconut is a plant that is rich in benefits, the part of the coconut that is most processed is the fruit. Coconut fruit is usually extracted to take coconut milk. Various processed food products require coconut milk as the main or additional product. Coconut milk is a food ingredient that spoils quickly and smells rancid within a few hours, this is because coconut milk has a fairly high water, fat and protein content. Therefore, we need a technology for preserving coconut milk which can be produced into coconut cream.
The pre-designed coconut cream manufacturing factory is planned to have a raw material capacity of 42,000 tons/year and operate for 330 days a year. The location for the factory is planned to be in the Sangkub I area, Sangkub District, Boolang Mongondow Regency with a required land area of 13,320 m2.
The workforce required for the operation of this factory amounts to 174 employees with the form of business entity being a Limited Liability Company led by a Director with an organizational structure consisting of a line and staff system.
The results of the analysis of the economic aspects of this factory are as follows:
• Capital Investment (CI) : Rp. 415.186.084.944,00
• Total Cost : Rp. 380.573.944.595,97
• Sales Result : Rp. 148.296.149.490,82
• Net Profit : Rp 98.671.939.411,39
• Profit Margin (PM) : 26,64 %
• Break Even Point (BEP) : 41,29 %
• Return on Investment (ROI) : 23,77 %
• Pay Out Time (POT) : 4,21 years
• Return on Network (RON) : 39,61 %
• Internal Rate of Return (IRR) : 24,53 %
Based on the results of the analysis of the economic aspects above, it can be concluded that the design of the coconut cream manufacturing factory is feasible to establish.
