Pra-Rancangan Pabrik Pembuatan Dextrin dari Kulit Singkong Menggunakan Proses Hidrolisis Enzimatis dengan Kapasitas Produksi 13.000 Ton/Tahun dan Tugas Khusus Rancangan Keteknikan Detail Evaporator
Abstract
The pre-designed factory for making dextrin from cassava skin with the Enzymatic Hydrolysis process has a production capacity of 13,000 tons / year and operates for 330 days in one year. The main process in the redesign of this plant consists of four stages, namely the raw material preparation stage, liquification stage, ion exchanges stage and drying stage. On the hydrolysis stage, 3 reactor units are used that operate at a temperature of 100 °C for 3 hours. The amount of cassava skin needed to reach the annual production capacity is 2570 kg/hour. This plant is expected to meet 80% of dextrin needs in Indonesia. A specific task solved was the detailed engineering design of the evaporator for dextrin purification. The form of this company business entity is planned to be a Limited Liability Company (PT) and the organizational form is a line and staff with a required workforce of 150 people.
The results of the economic analysis of the manufacture of dextrin from cassava skin are as follows:
• Total investment capital Rp. 356,470,535,809.79
• Total production cost Rp. 228,595,783,995.62
• Sales proceeds Rp. 517.420.339.920
• Net profit Rp. 186,879,781,544.09
• Profit Margin : 55,54%
• Break Even Point : 28,05%
• Return On Investment : 52,438%
• Pay Out Time : 1 year 9 months
• Return On Network : 87,38%
• Internal Rate of Return : 66,25%
From the results of the analysis of the economic aspects, it can be concluded that the factory for making dextrin from cassava skin starch is feasible to be established.
