Pra Rancangan Pabrik Pembuatan Glukosa Kristal dari Kulit Kakao dengan Metode Hidrolisis Asam Sulfat dengan Kapasitas 27.000 Ton/Tahun dan Tugas Khusus Rancangan Keteknikan Detail Crystallizer
Abstract
Glucose crystals are one of the alternative sources of sweetener for producing sugar from
starch base material by hydrolyzing starch into sugar which can be obtained by acid
hydrolysis method. Glucose is needed by the body as one of the main sources of fuel for
cellular metabolism body. This plant for the manufacture of crystalline glucose from
cocoa husk is planned to have a capacity of 27.000 tons/year and operate for 330 days a
year. This plant is expected to optimize waste processing in the form of cocoa husk that
are quite large in Indonesia and increase export commodities in Indonesia. The location
of the plant is planned on the island of Sulawesi, Poso District, Central Sulawesi
Province, Indonesia with the required land area of 24.000 m2. The form of business
entity of this company is planned Limited Liability Company (PT) and the form of
organization is a line and staff organization with a workforce of 100 people. Staff
organization with the number of workers required as many as 100 people. The results of
the analysis of the economic aspects of this crystalline glucose manufacturing plant from
cocoa husk are: Total Investment Capital:Rp.871.765.734.731.Total Production Cost:
Rp.159.783.193.002.Sales Revenue:Rp.547.677.511.920. Net Profit: Rp.253.931.831.732.
Profit Margin (PM): 46,37 %. Break Even Point (BEP): 35,89 %. Return on Investment
(ROI): 27,26 %. Pay Out Time (POT) : 3,669 years. Return on Network (RON): 48,55 %.
Internal Rate of Return (IRR): 30,94. From the results of the analysis of economic
aspects, it can be concluded that the factory of making crystal glucose from cocoa husk
by hydrolysis method of sulfuric acid with a capacity of 27.000 tons/year.
