Penjadwalan Produksi Menggunakan Metode Tabu Search pada CV. Rosen Jaya
Abstract
CV. Rosen Jaya is a company engaged in the woodworking sector and produces products based on orders from customers or make to order. CV. Rosen Jaya has a jobshop flow pattern where the products produced have a small amount of production but many models or variants. Scheduling system on CV. Rosen Jaya currently applies the first come first serve (FCFS) rule. With the actual scheduling system, the company still encounters problems in fulfilling orders according to a predetermined time limit where the total amount of time for completion of all orders (makespan) cannot meet the deadline for the work to be completed. With the proposed tabu search method, it is hoped that the product completion time (makespan), namely the amount of time needed to complete the processing of all jobs, will be shorter. The tabu search scheduling criteria in this study is to minimize makespan so that a more optimal scheduling system design is obtained. The results of scheduling using the tabu search method obtained the results of a job order of 21345 with a makespan value of 5055.3 minutes, which is better than the company's actual scheduling with a makespan value of 5369.1 minutes. The performance of the results of the tabu search method is seen from the efficiency index parameter of 1.062 indicating that the tabu search method has better performance and with a relative error of 6.20% indicating that the production scheduling of the tabu search method results in makespan savings of 6.20% compared to the actual method company.
