Analisis Tindakan Preventive Maintenance pada Mesin Routary Linier Menggunakan Metode Reliability Centered Maintenance
Abstract
PT Palmanco is a company engaged in the production and sale of cooking oil. Problems with the oil packaging machine that have a high number of breakdowns cause losses to the company in the form of rejected products and maintenance costs. The aim of the research was to determine the optimal scheduled maintenance time and identify the causes of machine downtime based on selected critical components. Based on historical data, linear linear machines have the highest failure frequency within 1 year of production due to continuous operation. The reliability centered maintenance method is used to identify failure modes and determine preventive task policies according to the failure mode. Calculations are performed with the mean time to failure and mean time to repair according to each parameter using the engine damage distribution test. The results obtained are damage intervals of 283.5 hours for servo thread, 306.5 hours for blow, and 281.57 hours for straight. In the repair time interval obtained 60.37 hours for servo thread, 29.59 hours for blow, and 37.70 hours for straight. The proposed maintenance consists of 2 scheduled restoration tasks and 1 scheduled discard task. In the maintenance time interval obtained 33.64 days for servo screw, 56.53 for blow, and 44.57 days for straight. The total proposed cost is IDR 416,662,496 lower or 25% compared to the actual cost. Development in this study was carried out using RCM as a determinant of preventive maintenance strategies so as to reduce maintenance cost values and increase machine reliability.
