dc.description.abstractAcetanilide is a derivative of aromatic acetyl amine which is classified as a primary amide with one hydrogen atom replaced by one acetyl group. Acetanilide is obtained from several reactions, one of which is the acetylation reaction using acetic acid and aniline with a reaction conversion of 99,5%. The need for acetanilide in Indonesia increases every year and it is imported from various contries in the world in quite large quantities. The pre-designed acetanilide plant is planned to have a production capacity of 6.510 tonnes/year and operate for 330 days in a year. The pre-designed factory is planned to be built on Tugu Industri Street, Tugu District, Semarang City, Central Java Province. The required factory area is 10.104 m2. The planned form of business entity is a Limited Liability Company (Ltd) with a line and staff organizational structure. The results of economics analysis of the pre-designed acetanilide plant are:  Investment Capital = Rp. 717.399.770.720  Production Cost / Year = Rp 400.363.844.020  Product Selling Price / Year = Rp 651.000.000.000  Net Profit / Year = Rp 166.728.043.727  Profit Margin (PM) = 25,6111 %  Break Even Point (BEP) = 42,4633 %  Return On Investment (ROI) = 23,2406 %  Pay Out Time (POT) = 4 tahun 4 bulan  Return On Network (RON) = 38,7343 %  Internal Rate of Return (IRR) = 19,1764 % From the results of economics analysis above, it can be concluded that the pre-designed acetanilide plant is feasible to establish.en_US
