Analisis Logam Besi dan Nikel pada Air Limbah PKS di Daerah Rantau Parapat dan Labuhan Batu Menggunakan Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom
Abstract
Determination of iron (Fe) and Nickel (Ni) metal content in PKS wastewater from the Rantau Parapat area and Labuhan Batu area using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry in the laboratory of PT Citra Lestari Enviro, jl. Setia Budi Complex Point 36c, where the determination of metal content was carried out by filtering the sample for 100 mL of dissolved samples. then destroyed with a total sample of 100 mL with the addition of 5 mL of HNO3(p) until the sample changes color from brown to yellow, then if the sample is not translucent then 5 mL of HNO3(p) is added when the sample is 20 mL in size while being destruction, after that the tera process is carried out on a 20 mL sample by placing the sample in a 100 mL volumetric flask and then tera up to the tera limit. Then read the calibration curve using an SSA tool that isequipped with its parts, but if the sample is not transparent, dilution is carried out until the sample is completely translucent, with the aim of making it easier for SSA to read the calibration curve. Then aspirate the blank solution on the SSA and then adjust the absorption to zero, then aspirate the standard Fe and Ni solutions starting from the smallest standard, then wash the hose using a diluent solution and then aspirate it on the sample. So that the iron content is obtained in the waste water Total Rantau Parapat Fe: 2.6799mg/L ;Ni: 0.0809mg/L, Wastewater Total PKS Labuhan Batu Fe: 0.7800mg/L ;Ni:0.0955mg/L, Dissolved Wastewater Rantau Parapat Fe: 1.5023mg/ L; Ni : 0.0803mg/L , Dissolved Water of PKS Labuhan Batu Fe : 3.915mg/L ; Ni : 0.4188mg/L.
