Rancangan Perbaikan Sistem Kerja pada Stasiun Loading RAMP dan Rebusan PTPN IV Kebun Adolina Menggunakan Pendekatan Macro Ergonomic Analysis and Design (MEAD)
Abstract
Currently, the level of complexity of the work system is higher in relation to the
development of science and technology. PTPN IV Kebun Adolina is a company
engaged in the processing of CPO (crude Palm Oil) and PKO (Palm Kernel Oil).
Indications of the problems that occur are related to fatigue and complaints of
heavy workloads at the loading ramp and sterillizer stations affected by hot
temperatures reaching 32°C and high noise around 92dB, equipment that is still
manual, and lack of leadership attention. The research was conducted based on
problem factors which included equipment, physical work environment, working
conditions, and organizational policies, with the aim of providing suggestions for
work system improvement designs using the macro ergonomic analysis and design
(MEAD) approach. Based on the analysis and processing of the data, it was
obtained that the %CVL and energy consumtion were 46,93% and 371,183
Kcal/hour respectively, so they were included in the heavy workload category and
needed improvement. Proposed improvement to work regulation policies by adding
rest time to workers of 16 minutes/working day with a total rest time of 76
minutes/working day.
