The procurement department plays an important role in managing the supply chain
and ensuring the acquisition of goods companies. Opportunities for risks in
procurement can occur, especially in manufacturing companies. If the opportunity
for risk to arise is ignored, it can result in disruption to the company's supply chain
flow. This research was conducted at the Procurement Department of PT. XYZ, a
manufacturing company that focuses on the production and distribution of
aluminum extrusion profiles. PT. XYZ experiences procurement risks in the form of
delays in raw material estimates caused by disruptions during delivery and
transportation. Therefore to reduce risks or other disturbances in the procurement
activities of PT. XYZ needs to evaluate the supply chain by identifying risks,
determine priority risk causes and plan some mitigation actions that can be
implemented by the company. This study aims to minimize and evaluate
procurement risks. Methods Interpretive structural modeling used to analyze the
relationship between risk events. Method House Of Risk (HOR) is used to evaluate
risk. The results of risk identification show that there are 30 risk events and 36 risk
agents in procurement activities. Through the ISM method, the interrelationships
between risks are identified and classified into fourteen levels. MICMAC analysis
categorizes the risk elements into 2 sectors(dependent), sector 3 (linkage), and
sector 4 (independent). The results of the HOR method obtained 9 priority risk
agents. Based on the results of this analysis, 11 risk mitigation actions that can be
carried out by the company are recommended.
