dc.description.abstractCurrently, not all children are lucky to get ideal and harmony in the family caused by the divorce of their parents. In fact, every child has self-potential that can be developed as the child grows in adolescence or adulthood, for this reason in realizing effort and concern in tackling this problem is the existence of a Child Care Community Non-Governmental Organization (KOPA). Through the Child Care Community NGO (KOPA) it is hoped that it can increase the self-potential of children whose parents are divorced. This study uses a type of qualitative description research. The informants in this study totaled 8 (eight) people. Data collection techniques with field studies, namely observation, interviews and documentation and literature study so that in the end the data obtained was analyzed qualitatively and conclusions were drawn from the research results. The results showed that the Child Care Community NGO (KOPA) plays a role in increasing the self-potential of children whose parents are divorced, namely by providing activity programs in the form of additional education, religious education and the formation of morals and morals, training and skills, healthy lifestyle and health checks. . These activity programs can increase the self-potential of children whose parents are divorced, where self-potential is divided into 4 types, namely thinking potential, emotional potential, physical potential and social potential. The role given by child care community NGOs in increasing children's self-potential can be said to be quite good because the activities carried out can provide benefits and change for children in increasing their self-potential. However, the program for healthy lifestyle activities and health checks has not gone well. And in increasing the emotional potential of children whose parents are divorced, they cannot control their emotions properlyen_US
