Public service is one of the activities carried out by an agency to provide convenience to the community. One form of implementing public services is the implementation of population administration in which there is an E-KTP recording service program, the implementation of which requires coordination from various agencies. Coordination is carried out to align various activities so that there is no chaos, disputes and emptiness by connecting, unifying and aligning activities so that there is directed cooperation in an effort to achieve common goals. However, in implementation, coordination between government agencies at the Medan Selayang District Office in providing E-KTP recording services still appears to be not optimal. The aim of this research is to determine coordination between government agencies in providing E-KTP recording services at the Medan Selayang District Office. The research method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection is done through interview techniques, observation, documentation. The data were obtained and analyzed qualitatively using the coordination theory approach proposed by Fayol, including cooperation, unity of action, communication, and discipline. The results of this research conclude that coordination between government agencies in carrying out E-KTP recording services at the Medan Selayang District Office can be seen from the cooperation indicators showing that there is no cooperation between the Department and the sub-district in carrying out E-KTP recording services, because the only person given access are operators who are employees of the Department, sub-districts also do not have their own recording equipment and printing machines so they are always dependent on the equipment owned by the Department, inter-agency also never collaborate to make a target number for people who record E-KTP. The unity of action indicator shows that between agencies have not carried out good unity of action, where the E-KTP recording service schedule does not match the schedule that has been set, the Department has also never provided training to sub-district employees so that sub-district Employees can temporarily replace operators who are unable to attend. Communication indicators show that the sub-district has never provided information on the implementation of the E-KTP pick-up ball recording as a whole to the urban village and the community and has never notified the actual E-KTP recording schedule to the community. Discipline indicators show that employees have not carried out their duties in accordance with procedures, and there is still a lack of supervision between agencies regarding employees and recording equipment.
