| dc.description.abstract | In 2021, the average monthly yield for the finished good product of PT Clariant Adsorbents Indonesia is 94%. This is not in accordance with the target set by the company's management, which is an average of 98% per month. The yield difference of 4% from the target resulted in financial losses for the company. The research was conducted at the company PT Clariant Adsorbents Indonesia with the aim of increasing the yield of finished good products through identifying and analyzing the factors that cause failure to achieve the target yield, making strategic policies to increase the target yield, and controlling any strategic policies that have been formulated to increase the target yield. . Based on these problems, a lean manufacturing approach is used with the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) method. The results of the study stated that the factors causing the failure to achieve yield of finished good product were the bucket wheel loader filling capacity, burner engine temperature, rotary screen filter machine maintenance schedule, and jumbo bag/small bag filling capacity. The improvements made are conducting a review of the capacity of one bucket wheel loader based on the characteristics of the incoming material, setting a minimum specification for the product (min 14%), scheduling cleaning activities for the rotary screen filter machine twice a week, and setting a maximum filling standard for each type of packaging (not more than 1005 Kg/Jumbo bag). After repairs were made, the filling capacity of the bucket wheel loader was able to increase the yield by 65%, the temperature of the burner machine was able to increase the yield by 22%, the maintenance schedule for the rotary screen filter machine was able to increase the yield by 6%, and the filling capacity of the jumbo bag/small bag was able to increase the yield by 7%.
