dc.description.abstractPT. Soci Mas Medan is one of the oleochemical industries managing PKO (Palm Kernel Oil) into fatty acids obtained by hydrolysis from PKO (palm kernel oil) using water at a temperature of 250-260oC and a pressure of 52-54 bar, the quality of hydrolyzed fatty acids is determined by acid value using the alkalimetric titration method. Based on the test results, the average acid value 251.59 mEq/ g.was obtained. From the test data, it can be seen that the value of free fatty acids is in accordance with the quality standards set by PT. Soci Mas Medan is Soci Srec acid value of 248-254 mEq / g.en_US
