One of the treatments for breast cancer is chemotherapy, this treatment inhibits cell division by killing cancer cells. One of the side effects of chemotherapy is nausea and vomiting. To reduce antiemetics in nausea and vomiting, non-pharmacological therapy can be used, namely the use of aromatherapy. The research design used was a literature review study. Results from four databases were obtained with details of 3 articles from Pubmed, 1 article from Sciencedirect, 4 articles from ResearchGate, and 7 from Google Scholar. The results of the literature review found that aromatherapy had an effect on overcoming nausea and vomiting in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, in the order of aromatherapy of lavender, peppermint, lemon, ginger, and finally chamomile. Aromatherapy can be used as an alternative in reducing nausea and vomiting in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Of the 5 aromatherapy inhaled during chemotherapy or when the effects of nausea and vomiting appear, and are done repeatedly. From the results of a review, lavender aromatherapy is the most effective in reducing nausea and vomiting.en_US
