Pengetahuan Guru tentang Kesehatan Mental Remaja di SMA Negeri 2 Siabu Kecamatan Siabu Kabupaten Mandailing Natal

Abstract

A teacher is someone who actively contributes to the improvement of qualityof the students. They are put in the situation where a whole update and adaptation are demanded, in terms of knowledge, teaching and learning ability, as well as various of skill sets thot are in line with the world deve/opmenJ and their personalities. Mental health is the realization of genuine harmonybetween mental functions and the creation of self-adjustment between humans and them.selves with their environment which is based on faith and piety, and aims to achieve a meaningful life of happiness in the world and the hereafter. The research aims to identify the Teacher's Knowledge of Mental Health in Adolescents at SMA Negeri 2 Siabu. The research is conducted from April - May 2023, with a total sample of 41. This descriptive research describes the phenomenon, event. incident that is happening now. The research results are obtained from the distribution of questionnaire to teachers. The result of frequency distribution indicates thot the percentage of teacher's knowledge of Mental Health in Adolescents at SMA Negeri 2 Siabu are in the good category which is 16 respondents (39%), 15 respondents (36.6%) are in sufficient category, and 10 respondents (24.4%)are in insufficient category. This research is recommended to be used as reference and input for nursing education regarding the supervision implementationof head of ward, especially in the field of nursing management
