Penentuan Kadar Ca, Mg dan Kadar Air Dari Pupuk Dolomite di Pusat Penelitian Kelapa Sawit ( PPKS) Medan

Abstract

Dolomite fertilizer is a single lime level which is good for plantation soil and for fisheries or ponds. Dolomite is made from dolomite rock collected from the mining process. The much-needed content of this lime is Calcium (Ca) and Magnesium (Mg). dolomite fertilizer is one of the good fertilizers for plants or crops, especially for oil palm. The purpose of testing the Ca, Mg moisture content of dolomite fertilizer is to determine the quality of dolomite fertilizer according to SNI 02-2810- 2005. An analysis of the levels of Ca, Mg and dolomite fertilizers using the AAS method and the oven method has been carried out to test the moisture content at the PALM OIL RESEARCH CENTER (PPKS) MEDAN. Where the results of the analysisof the Ca content obtained are 30.36% and the results of the analysis ofthe Mg levels obtained are 20.50% and the results of the analysis of the Water Content obtained are 0.18% where these results correspond to the range of the SNI number 02-2810-2005 of Dolomite fertilizer.
