Medan is the third largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and Surabaya. In addition, Medan is also the capital of North Sumatra province. The city has many interesting attractions both within the city and its surroundings, and has various historical places that can be visited and appreciated. Al Mahsum Grand Mosque, Sri Deli Park and Maimun Palace are historical places in Medan city. These places are located in the Mahkamah street area of Medan city, Mahkamah street Mesjid village, Medan Kota sub district. On Mahkamah street , about 70% of the buildings on the edge of Mahkamah str eet are used by these iron craftsmen. In line with the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) of Medan City, the Mahkamah street area can be structured by making the Mahkamah street area into a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area of Medan City using the Adaptiv e Reuse method. This can be seen from the physical condition of the Mahkamah street area, where people do not recognize the elements that form the city's image. City image becomes something important to strengthen the identity and face of the city so that it makes the city attractive and has appeal.en_US
