dc.description.abstract | Health development is an effort to realize optimal levels of health. The main capital
in health development is healthy and quality Human Resources (HR). Based on the
baby/toddler weighing report, the Medan City Bestari Health Center has not been
able to exceed the target for the baby/toddler weighing report set by the Puskesmas.
The report's target is 80%, so it is necessary to know the influence of individual
characteristics and motivation on the performance of posyandu cadres in the
Bestari Health Center, Medan City. The results of the chi-square test show that
there is a relationship between age, education, length of service, physiological,
social, and appreciation for the performance of posyandu cadres with each value,
age p=0.001, education p=0.001, length of service p=0.002, physiological
p=0.002, social p=0.001, reward p=0.001. There is a significant relationship
between age, education, length of service, physiological, social, rewards and the
performance of posyandu cadres. There is no significant relationship between
security and self-actualization and the performance of posyandu cadres. There is
social influence and appreciation for the performance of posyandu cadres. The
