Abstract
Adolescence is a critical period in increasing sexual urges, the desire to develop sexual values, and the beginning of sexual behavior. Many changes that occur in adolescents, both physically and psychologically, encourage adolescents to obtain information about sexuality that is formed before entering puberty. The role of peers, religiosity and exposure to pornography through electronic media are causes that contribute to sexual behavior. This study used quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The results of this study obtained the role of peers with good category 18 respondents (27.7%) and not good 47 respondents (72.3%). Religiosity in the high category is 14 respondents (21.5%), while 21 respondents (32.3%), low 30 respondents (46.2%). Exposure to pornography via electronic media was in the unexposed category, namely 13 respondents (20%) and in the exposed category, 52 respondents (80%). There is a significant relationship between the role of peers and sexual behavior where the p value 0.05. There is a significant relationship between exposure to pornography through electronic media and the sexual behavior of adolescents where the p value <0.05. For school institutions, it is expected that as information material to guide students regarding reproductive health and also in tackling high sexual behavior, it is hoped that schools will utilize the UKS (School Health Unit) as a driving force for conducting education on reproductive health.
