    Pengaruh Peer Group terhadap Pelaksanaan Social Distancing pada Pemuda Pemudi Gereja di Kelurahan Tegal Sari Mandala 2 Medan

    Abstract
    Social distancing is a method of non-medical prevention that is applied to reduce contact between individuals who are infected and susceptible to Covid-19 (Toxvaerd, 2020). Peer or peer group is a group of teenagers who have the same age or level of maturity and interact and influence each other. The influence of peer groups can be seen in how and with whom teenagers spend their daily time. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of peer groups on the implementation of social distancing in church youths in the Tegal Sari Mandala 2 Village, Medan. This type of research is a quantitative research which is an analytic survey with a cross sectional method. The population in this study was a group of church youths in the Tegal Sari Mandala 2 Medan Village, totaling 56 people. The total sample was 56 people with the total sampling method. The data collection method is by distributing questionnaires through the Google Forms platform. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi Square test. The results showed that there was an influence between the peer group and the implementation of social distancing, namely p = 0.033 <(α = 0.05) and there was an influence between knowledge and the implementation of social distancing with a p value of 0.031 and there was an influence between peer groups and feelings of anxiety from Covid-19 with a p-value of 0.034. There is no influence between knowledge and perceptions of vulnerability, knowledge with feelings of anxiety and peer group with perceptions of vulnerability. For the church to educate the congregation to comply in implementing the 7 WHO recommendations during a pandemic, one of which is by practicing social distancing
