Pemberitaan Kompas.com Mengenai Vaksinasi Covid-19 terhadap Tingkat Kecemasan dan Perubahan Perilaku Masyarakat di Kota Medan

Abstract

Based of that, the purpose this study was: (1) find out that there is a relationship between Kompas.com's news about Covid-19 and the level of public anxiety about the Covid-19 pandemic, (2) find out that there is a relationship between Kompas.com's news about Covid-19 and behavior change people facing the Covid 19 pandemic, (3) knowing that there is a relationship between Kompas.com's reporting about Covid-19 to the level of anxiety and changes in people's behavior facing the Covid-19 pandemic in Medan City. The research technique is a correlational quantitative. Population of this study was 629,873 people, with a sample of 400 people taken by the people of Medan City aged 20-34 years. Collecting data using questionair and interview , at last using Spearman Rho data analysis. The findings in this study are that there is a significant negative relationship between Kompas.com reporting and the level of public anxiety facing Covid-19 in Medan City, a significant positive relationship between Kompas.com reporting and changes in people's behavior towards Covid-19 in Medan City, and also shows that there is a relationship between Kompas.com reporting on the level of anxiety and changes in people's behavior towards Covid-19 in Medan City
