Pengolahan Citra dalam Pengukuran Tinggi Badan dan Berat Badan Terintegrasi Sistem Database Berbasis Web Services
Abstract
Height and weight measurement is part of the recruitment process in a company
to select potential human resources. Currently, this measurement process is still
done manually. However, this manual method has not produced accurate data and
is not integrated into a database, making it inefficient. Therefore, in this study, an
image processing application will be developed to work on a web-based graphical
interface platform and a system that utilizes web services technology. This image
processing application is used to measure height and weight using human image
samples. The process involves an application developed using PHP: Hypertext
Preprocessor programming language, GD library, Imagick library, and JavaScript
connected to a database system for height and weight data. The use of the bodypix
module will enhance the application's efficiency. Weight calculation is performed
using the ellipsoid volume method. The image samples used are captured using a
webcam in PNG format. The research results show that the average percentage
error in height measurement is 3.66% for a 300 cm webcam distance and 1.66%
for a 400 cm webcam distance. Meanwhile, the average percentage error in weight
measurement is -0.57% for a 300 cm webcam distance and 0.46% for a 400 cm
webcam distance.
