| dc.description.abstract | Nanohybrid composite resin is a composite recovery of nanoparticles with a size of 0.005-0.01 microns. Compressive strength is the maximum amount of resistance that an object can withstand before fracture. The compressive strength of composite resins can be affected by beverages such as robusta coffee. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a difference in the compressive strength of nanohybrid composite resin after immersion in robusta coffee solution for 24 hours, 72 hours, 120 hours and 168 hours. This type of research is a laboratory experiment with a post-test only control group design. he sample in this study was a rod-shaped nanohybrid composite resin with a diameter of 3 mm and a height of 6 mm as many as 6 samples in each group. Samples were immersed in coffee solution according to the soaking time and replaced every 24 hours which were placed in an incubator with a temperature of 37ºC. Measurement of compressive strength using the Universal Testing Machine. The measurement results show that the mean and standard deviation of the compressive strength in group 1 is 133.0 ± 6.43 MPa; Group 2 is 94.19±9.8 MPa; group 3 was 77.81±5.10 MPa; group 4 was 57.26 ± 5.74 MPa and group 5 was 38.54 ± 3.49 MPa. The results of the One-Way Anova test obtained a value of p = 0.0001 (<0.05) which showed that there were differences in the compressive strength of the nanohybrid composite resin after immersion in coffee solution with immersion times of 24 hours, 72 hours, 120 hours and 168 hours. It can be concluded that there was a significant decrease in the compressive strength of the nanohybrid composite resin after immersion in coffee solution with immersion times of 24 hours, 72 hours, 120 hours and 168 hours. | en_US |
