| dc.description.abstract | Perinea/ wound care is urgently required by postpartum mothers to minimize the risk of infection that ends in complications. Several types of technology are commonly used in treating perinea/ wounds in postpartum mothers both in Indonesia and abroad, one of which is through applied technology. The use of applied technology in the medical world provides various benefits, such as lower medical costs, relatively smaller side effects, and less dependence on medical treatment. This study uses a Systematic Review method with the PICOS approach to determine inclusion and exclusion criteria and employs the PRISMA Flow Diagram for screening articles obtained from the Google Scholar, PubMed, and Elsevier databases within the year 2014 to 2023, and IO articles are obtained that match the research title. Based on the IO revi ewed journals, it is found that the majority of the respondents who are given therapy in the form of applied technology experience an average perinea/ wound healing of <7 days. Based on the analysis, among the IO articles that have been reviewed, there is the most effective type of applied technology in the treatment of perinea/ wounds in normal postpartum mothers, namely through providing boiled water of young areca nut and Kandis acid (Garcinia xanthochymus). This therapy can accelerate the perinea/ wound healing process starting on the 4th day. Therefore, through this Systematic Review, it is hoped this can become a source of knowledge for all postpartum mothers in Indonesia who experience perinea/ wounds so they can apply this therapy as an alternative in perinea/ wound care. | en_US |
