A condyle is a part of mandible that lies on top of the ramus of mandible and builds a joint with the temporal bone through glenoid fossa. Panoramic radiography can provide an overall view off the jaw. The pbjective of the research is to find out the mean value of condyle cortical thickness of the Bataknese, view from panoramic radiography. The research uses a descriptive method. The samples are 120 panoramic radiographys which are divided into six age-groups, (consist of 20 samples respectively), namely age-group 1 (6-12 years), age-group 2 (13-18 yeaars), age-group 3 (19-24 years), age-group 4 (25-35 years), age-group 4 (36-45 years) and age-group 6 (46-60 years). The data are analyzed by a descriptive analytic test. The result of the research show that the mean value of the condyle cortical thickness in each right side and left side with millimeter unit respectively in group 1, group 2, group 3, group 4, group 5, and group 6 are (0,24 ± 0,04), (0,26 ± 0,03), (0,33 ± 0,02), (0,40 ± 0,04), (0,38 ± 0,04), and (0,21 ± 0,02). it is concluded that the mean value of condyle cortical thickness consecutively form the highest to the lowest with millimeter uniy, is found in group 4 (0,40 ± 0,04), group 5 (0,38 ± 0,04), group 3 (0,33 ± 0,02), group 2 (0,26 ± 0,03), group 1 (0,24 ± 0,04), and group 6 (0,21 ± 0,02).
