Gambaran Kadar Gula Darah Sewaktu Pada Masyarakat di Kelurahan Durian Kecamatan Bajenis Kota Tebing Tinggi

Abstract

Glucose or blood sugar is oneof the important carbohydrates to useas a source of energy. It can be obtained from foods that contain carbohydrates. Glucose is the main molecule that forms the energy in the body. and the main so11rce of energy for the brain and red blood cells. G/11cose is produced from foods that contain carbohydrates and it consists of monosaccharides, disaccharides and polysaccharides. The research aims to find out the description of random blood s11gar levels in Durian Village, Bajenis S11bdistrict, the city of Tebing Tinggi. This descriptive research is cond11cted using cross-sectional design and the population is the community of D11rian Village, Bajenis Subdistrict, the city of Tebing Tinggi, with a total of 39 people. The number of samples is 39 people taken using Total Sampling technique. Instruments used to measure the random blood sugar levels is Glucomeier. The research variable is blood sugar levels of the community in Durian Village. The res11/t indicates that in Durian Village, Bajenis Subdistrict, Tebing Tinggi, 27 respondents (69.2%) have random sugar levels in the non-DM category, 10 respondents (25.6%) are in not necessarily DM category, and 2 respondents (5.2%) are in DM category. The result indicates that nearly all respondents are in the non-DA1category with the blood sugar level of <90 mg/di.
