dc.description.abstractThis research aims to explore the implementation of digital technology in the administration of education and training at the Human Resources Development Agency of North Sumatra Province. Additionally, this research aims to identify the challenges and obstacles faced in the development of digitalization in administration and determine the contribution of digitalization in administration to regional planning. The research method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing interview, observation, and documentation as research instruments. Data were obtained through interviews with various relevant parties, direct observation of the education and training administration processes, and collection of related documents. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of digital technology in the administration of education and training at the Human Resources Development Agency of North Sumatra Province has had a positive impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of training implementation. The digitalization of administration has improved the qualifications and quality of the conducted training. However, there are still challenges to be addressed, including the suboptimal pace of adaptation to technological changes by employees aged above 50 years, as well as limited human resources and budgetary constraints. Nevertheless, the development of digitalization in administration in the organization of education and training at the Human Resources Development Agency of North Sumatra Province can contribute positively to regional planning. With better adoption of digital technology, administrative processes can be enhanced in terms of efficiency and accuracy, thus supporting better decision-making in regional planning. This research provides a deeper understanding of the development of digitalization in administration in the context of education and training at the Human Resources Development Agency of North Sumatra Province. Recommendations can be given to relevant parties to address the challenges faced, such as providing more intensive training and support for employees struggling to adapt to technological changes, as well as increasing the allocation of human resources and budget to support better development of digitalization in administration in the future.en_US
