Alarm Pendeteksi Kebocoran Gas Menggunakan SMS sebagai Peringatan Berbasis At-Mega 328p

Abstract

The role of LPG gas at this time is very important for human life both at home and in industry. However, the gas may have a negative impact, especially if there is no leakage from the gas tube or storage place of the LPG. The cause of the leakage of this gas cylinder can occur due to leakage in the tube, tube or on the regulator that is not installed properly and the gas tubes are distributed are not good quality or physical damage. This study aims to produce a design of LPG gas leak detection equipment using MQ-7 sensor as gas sensor, and as a module on AT-mega 328p microcontroller to connect with sim module. How it works is that when the MQ-7 sensor detects the LPG gas, the sensor sends data to the microcontroller at AT-mega to be given a response to turn on the buzzer as an alarm, and it can send gas leak information to the mobile using sms as warning.

Peranan gas LPG pada saat ini sangatlah penting bagi kehidupan manusia baik di rumah tangga maupundi industri. Namun, gas dapat berdampak negatif, terutama bila tidak diketahui telah terjadi kebocoran daritabung atau tempat penyimpanan gas LPG tersebut. Penyebab dari bocor tabung gas ini bisa terjadi karenakebocoran pada selang, tabung atau pada regulatornya yang tidak terpasang dengan baik dan tabung gas yangdidistribusikan memang kualitasnya kurang baik atau rusak fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkansebuah rancang bangun alat pendeteksi kebocoran tabung gas LPG dengan menggunakan sensor MQ-7 sebagaisensor gas, dan sebagai modul pada mikrokontroler AT-mega 328p untuk menghubungkan dengan modul sim. Cara kerja alat ini yaitu, ketika sensor MQ-7 mendeteksi gas LPG maka sensor akanmengirimkan data ke mikrokontroler pada AT-mega untuk diberikan respon berupa menyalakan buzzersebagai alarm, dan alat ini dapat mengirimkan informasi kebocoran gas ke handphone menggunakan sms sebagai peringatan.
