Potensi Wisata Alam dan Pola Penggunaan Lahan di Desa Penyangga Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser (TNGL) (Studi Potensi Resort Bahorok Kabupaten Langkat Sumatera Utara)
Abstract
Bahorok is one of the sub-districts located in Gunung Leuser National Park (TNGL), Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. Bahorok has a buffer village that is directly adjacent to the Gunung Leuser National Park area, namely Timbang Lawan Village, Jongjong Stone Village, and Lau Damak Village, These three villages have many interesting tourist attractions, such as natural beauty, river flows, mountains, waterfalls, caves, and flora and fauna. The prominent attraction in the village is the beautiful natural beauty, fresh air is the main factor that attracts tourists. This study aims to determine the potential of natural tourism and land use patterns in the buffer villages of Gunung Leuser National Park (TNGL), Bahorok Resort and also determine the perception of the potential of natural tourism objects in the three villages. The methods used in this study are ADO-ODTWA analysis, SWOT analysis and spatial analysis to analyze land use patterns in buffer villages. The results of this study show that the potential of tourism objects in buffer villages is feasible to be developed, the largest land use pattern in buffer villages is land use as plantations. And the community's response also agrees that the existence of tourist attractions increases business opportunities.
