Perilaku dalam Pemanfaatan Tanaman Obat Keluarga sebagai Terapi Hipertensi Pada Masyarakat di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sambirejo

Abstract

An early prevention effort for hypertension that is extremely helpful is the utilization of family medicinal plants in the garden. Increasing public knowledge of family medicinal plants is urgently required as a therapy for hypertension. The objective of this study is to identify knowledge, attitudes, and actions in utilizing family medicinal plants as a treatment for hypertension in the community in the working area of the Sambirejo Public Health Center (Puskesmas). This is a quantitative research design with a descriptive approach where simple random sampling is employed as the sampling technique. The sample of this study is 30 people with hypertension who are treated in the working area of Puskesmas Sambirejo in 2022. A questionnaire is carried out as the data collection method and then the data which have been collected are analysed descriptively. The results show that behavior in the utilization of family medicinal plants as hypertension therapy in the working area of Puskesmas Sambirejo is that 30 people (100%) have good knowledge, the majority of people's attitudes are good with the total of 22 people (73.3%) and the action that all people utilize the cultivation of family medicinal plants is 30 people (100%). It is expected that the community utilizes family medicinal plants as hypertension therapy in the working area of Puskesmas Sambirejo.
