dc.description.abstractMental health influences a person’s activities. Mental disorder can be influenced by genetics, stress, and trauma. Technological development has made people easier to get and to access information abaout health so that they can find out their own selves which are called self-diagnose. It becomes a trend now for many people, especially Z generation. It is continuously done without consulting professionals so that it can cause their bad mental health. The objective of this research is to explore the experience in self-diagnose of Z generation about mental disorder. The research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data are gathered by using discussion group focus, using interview guideline. The samples themes through the analytical content as follows. 1) reason for self-diagnose, 2) positive effect of self-diagnose, 3) negative effect of self-diagnose, and 4) source of information of self-diagnose. It is recommended that students be able to sort any information they have gotten because not all of it in the internet is true. When they undergo changes in them concering health, they should consult proffesionals.en_US
