| dc.description.abstract | Health is a human right and one of the elements of welfare that must be realized in accordance with the ideals of the Indonesian nation, as referred to in Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. PHBS aims to improve, maintain and protect their health both physically, mentally, spiritually and socially. Public awareness to always maintain personal health and the surrounding environment is still low. This study aims to identify the description of the application of PHBS in the community in Besilam Bukit Lembasa Village, Wampu District, Langkat Regency. This study used descriptive research methods. The population in this study was every household in Besilam Village. The sample in this study amounted to 91 households located in Besilam Bukit Lembasa Village, Wampu District, Langkat Regency. Sampling using accidental sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a household PHBS questionnaire with 10 indicators. The results of this study obtained as many as 51 households (56.04%) do PHBS well or healthy households, while 40 households (43.95%) are less good at doing PHBS. It is recommended that health workers should always increase public knowledge or awareness about household PHBS through health promotion activities. | en_US |
