dc.description.abstractPolio is a transmitted disease caused by polio virus. It can make its victims. paralyzed or even died. It comes from water or food contaminated by feces infected by polio virus and infiltrates into mouths. It can be prevented by giving polio immunization. The objective of the research is to find out the description of women's adherence to give polio basic immunization to their children at Paluh Sibaji Village. The research employs descriptive quantitative method. The samples are taken by using total sampling technique. The data are gathered by using questionnaire on demography which includes the women's address, age, education, attitude, and occupation in May, 2023. The result of the research shows that 73.3% of the respondents have positive attitude toward giving polio immunization to their children, but the support from their families is not optimal. It is recommended that giving polio basic immunization be sufficient according to the national target (95%), and its completion be in accordance with the Permenkes (Regulation of the Minister of Health).en_US
