| dc.description.abstract | Personal hygiene derives from Greek words "personal" meaning individual and "hygiene" meaning healthy. Personal hygiene is self-care performed by oneself in order to maintain the self-cleanliness and health both physically and mentally. The level of one's personal hygiene can be generally seen from his clean and neat appearance and his efforts to keep his body clean and tidy every day. The research aims to determine the knowledge of Elementary School students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 on Personal Hygiene in Pematang Jering Village, Sei Suka Subdistrict, Regency of Batu Bara. This quantitative descriptive research is conducted from March to June 2023, with a total sample of 67 respondents. The results indicate that knowledge of Elementary School students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 on Personal Hygiene in Pematang Jering Village, Sei Suka Subdistrict, Regency of Batu Bara in grades I, II, and III are namely 45 respondents (67.2%) are in the good category, and 22 respondents (32.8%) are in the sufficient category. It is recommended that the student's knowledge of personal hygiene to be increased and maintained. | en_US |
