Efektivitas Penggunaan Aplikasi E-Health dalam Pelayanan Kesehatan Literature Review

Abstract

Innovation in e-Health is the main support for achieving and measuring universal health coverage. E-health can decrease nursing cost for family, increase the equal access to qualified services, connect health system efficiently by using social protection program, and increase accountability and sustainability in health care. Health care can be defined as any efforts to maintain and increase public health, including preventing, diagnosing, medicating, and rehabilitating. The writer has collected and analyzed some researches on the use of e-Health application in health care in order to evaluate how far the application is effective in increasing the quality and the accessibility of health care. The research employs literature review method, searching for database is done by using Ebsco, Semantic Scholar, and PubMed articles in the period of 2013-2023; the selection process is carried out by using PICOS format with inclusion criteria of the national and international journals from different database related to the title of the literature review: effectiveness in using e-Health application in health care. The use of e- Health application is becoming popular and has the potency of increasing the effectiveness in some ways. The result of the research shows that the effectiveness in using e-Health application in health care is found from 10 articles: effective in increasing health behavior, as the device for health promotion, as the routine checking device for health, and as the device for tele-health. 10 health applications can be taken from the 10 journal of literature review. It is recommended that the use of e-Health application be carried out in places where health care is provided for the people.
