dc.description.abstractPre-school age is an anxiety period for children. Emotional intelligence development at this age develops rapidly. One of its factors is parenting. Parents' capacity to develop parenting which is applied correctly can encourage their children's emotional intelligence well. The objective of the research is to find out the correlation between parenting and pre-school children's emotional intelligence, based on empirical study in the last five years. The data are gathered from 14 articles. The research employs literature review method. It is carried out in March to April, 2023. The database is Google Scholar (10 articles), Garuda (3 articles) and Taylor & Francis (2 articles). The result of the research from the 14 reviewed articles shows that there is the correlation between parenting and pre- school children's emotional intelligence. The conclusion is that there is a correlation between parenting and pre-school children's emotional intelligence. It is recommended that parents who has pre-school children apply democratic parenting in emotional intelligence so that it will develop properly.en_US
